Leadership

The Texas Familias Council is an independent, professional community organization developed from the Texas Latino Leadership Roundtable in 2010 by local Latino leaders in response to the unprecendented growth of the Latino community in Montgomery County.

We believe that strong communities need thoughtful, focused, and local support for great success.  We also hope to inspire our  communities by reflecting  diverse roots found within.

We will research issues needed to support our community values of education, family life, career advancement, and community engagement.

We are diverse professionals contributing our talents and abilities to help develop our valuable ethnic communities.

Our Advisory Council members represent the academic field, healthcare field, business sector, legal field, social work field, creative arts, the resource community, and leadership arenas.

We are from our community and for our community!
